Service Description

We offer rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats, "distemper/parvo combo" (DHLPP) vaccination for dogs, and "tricat" (FVRCP) vaccine for cats. Puppies and kittens need vaccines at 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age. Older pets who have unknown vaccine histories need two visits separated by 2-4 weeks. Once a pet has been properly boostered, most need yearly vaccinations. Dr. Eman recommends testing all new cats for feline leukemia and feline infectious virus. Vaccination appointments are the perfect time to also have the yearly fecal test for intestinal parasites and deworming.
